What is Clinislim?
Clinislim is a prescription-free diet pill which promises to help you lose “10lbs in 10 days”. It features a number of instantly recognisable weight loss ingredients in a vegetarian friendly capsule. But with so many diet aids available, the question is can this supplement really live up to the hype?
Does Clinislim Work?
The ingredients in Clinislim are as follows; Chromium, Garcinia Cambogia, Glucomannan, Guarana, Yerba Mate, Damiana and Gymnema Sylvestre.
While some of the key ingredients are commonly used in other diet pill formulations, there has been no clinical studies carried out on the actual product; Clinislim has not been tested by the FDA, and any possible negative side effects have not been fully looked into.
Potential Clinislim Side Effects
With all weight loss products there is the possibility of a bad reaction or over stimulation through caffeine leading to problems with sleeping and anxiety. When the ingredients of Clinislim are looked at individually, the list of side effects is alarmingly lengthy. Starting with chromium, this has been found to have little to no effect on weight loss and has on occasion even produced weight gain!
Damiana leaf has been traditionally used as an abortive and also has an effective on hypoglycaemia and the absorption of iron, making it unsuitable for pregnant women, diabetics and anaemia sufferers.
Glucomannan binds and also changes the absorption of nutrients in a way that could adversely manipulate the effectiveness of the other parts of Clinislim. Yerba mate alone could produce nausea, irritability, increase in frequency and darkness of urination, headaches, stomach pain, yellowing of the eyes or skin, fever, muscle twitching and irregular heartbeat.
If all the above wasn’t worrying enough, the use of Garcinia Cambogia is also questionable as a weight loss ingredient. Garcinia Cambogia contains Hydroxycitric acid (HCA) which suppresses appetite and burns fat. Unfortunately, it was recently discovered that HCA can cause serious liver complications, jaundice, brown urine and an upset stomach. The FDA has warned against using anything containing HCA.
Is Clinislim worth buying?
OVERALL RATING :
While Clinislim may be available freely without the need for prescription, it must be noted that there have been no clinical tests on the actual product itself. One potential downfall is the high cost of Clinislim, especially considering the lack of any medical backing.
The manufacturer and country of origin are also unknown, with an online form being the only method of contact. It is suggested a maximum of 10 pills a day is an effective dose age, signifying the capsules aren’t as potent as other formulas.
Unfortunately, like many diet pills, Clinislim appears to rely on exaggerated and unhealthy claims, rather than an effective and safe formulation.
Recommended Clinislim Alternatives
Those looking for an effective weight loss aid should look no further than Phen375 – a US made fat burner which is produced in FDA registered labs in California.
Phen375 features a safe and highly effective formula which works to suppress appetite, boost the metabolism and force the body to hold less fat.
Of all the diet pills we have reviewed in recent years, only Phen375 has ticked all the right boxes and comes highly recommended for those wanting fast results, and a safe and 100% natural formula.
