What is Lipofuze?
Lipofuze is advertised predominately in paid Google search results as the top fat burner for 2012. The manufacturers claim that it contains ten patented ingredients, and that the product has been clinically tested. According to the website, Lipofuze acts as an appetite suppressant, energy booster and fat burner. Let’s see how these claims add up.
Is Lipofuze effective?
This is a difficult question to answer, because if we strip away the typical hype we are actually left with very little hard information. For instance we are told that Lipofuze contains ten patented ingredients, but if we investigate a little further we find that only eight are listed on the product label.
Most of them do not look as if they are patented to one company since a lot of fat burners contain similar ingredients such as green tea and African mango. The key ingredient used in Lipofuze appears to be Green Tea (350mg per serving) which is high in caffeine and is commonly used in diet pills to stimulate the metabolism.
Has Lipofuze been clinically tested? The website says it has and then right at the bottom in tiny letters we are told: “The information on this site has not been evaluated by the FDA.” Very well, has it been evaluated by somebody else? The company is being very coy if it has and normally clinical trial results are given wide coverage on these dieting sites. In the case of Lipofuze, once again all we have to go on is the bald assertion that the product has been clinically tested.
Lipofuze Side effects
While no side effects are listed, those who are sensitive to caffeine, breast feeding or pregnant should probably avoid this supplement. High caffeine intake can cause insomnia, nausea, upset stomach, rapid heart beat and migraines.
Lipofuze review conclusion
OVERALL RATING :
Unfortunately, many of the claims at the top of the page are then contradicted further down in the inside areas that most people do not read. There are not the ten ingredients that the manufactures claim, but only eight of them are listed and none of them are patented to Lipofuze.
The marketing also leaves a lot to be desired, with promises of “tank top toned arms” and “firmer abs and butt” – both impossible to attain without regular gym work.
Sadly, Lipofuze contains a rather ordinary formula relying on green tea (caffeine) as the key ingredient. Although it has the added benefit of vitamin D and co-enzyme Q10 for a feel-good factor, there is nothing really ground-breaking which justifies the price of this product.
One of the best fat burning supplements we have reviewed in recent months is the rather excellent Phen375, which features Dehydroepiandrosterone – known as a “youth hormone” which actually works to reduce body fat percentage.
Phen375 is at the forefront of current weight loss research, and is one of the only fat burners to be formulated in FDA registered laboratories under strict supervision. While the formula is known to be extremely effective, it is also 100% natural and free from negative side effects.
